Clarke Farm (CF) is an agribusiness company registered in Uganda and aims to operate a model farm on its 600 hectares (ha) land located in Kitabale, Kyenjojo District.

The primary crop for the farm is coffee which will be harvested, processed and exported directly to the international market. Currently, a minimum of 250 hectares (ha) have been set aside for coffee planting of which 120 ha have been planted, with a further 130 ha expected to be opened up to accommodate a mix of traditional Robusta and Coffee Wilt Disease Resistant (CWDR) varieties. The Company’s long-term strategy is to add value to the coffee by investing in a processing plant which will be used on own harvest and coffee supplied by smallholder farmers. An out grower scheme will be developed for farmers to supply the coffee produced for processing to Clarke Farm.

Clarke Farm also has other projects on the farm which include Eucalyptus trees, pine trees, bamboo, Macadamia, Goats, Layers, Maize , Matooke, Oranges, Mango trees and a Coffee Nursery.

CF is an Investee Company of the Yield Uganda Investment Fund, a Small and Medium Agribusiness Development Fund in Uganda. The Fund design is a partnership between public and private investors. The Fund offers innovative financial products, such as equity and semi-equity funding, to Ugandan small and medium agro-companies that have viable plans to develop their businesses and can play a key role in the development of crucial agricultural value chains.
